Assess Exchange Online identities, addresses, mailbox types, and routing.
MICROSOFT 365 → ZOHO MAIL
Move Exchange Online mailboxes to Zoho without treating cutover as a single risky event.
We validate Microsoft tenant access, application consent, mailbox types, aliases, routing, and data volume before piloting the migration into Zoho Mail or Workplace.
RECOMMENDED CONNECTION
Microsoft tenant application-based migration
We confirm the final method after checking tenant settings, permissions, mailbox volume, routing, and the required cutover model.
WHAT WE CHECK FIRST
✓ Microsoft 365 Global Administrator coordination✓ User, alias, shared-mailbox, and group inventory✓ Application registration and required consent✓ DNS and accepted-domain configuration reviewMANAGED SCOPE
From discovery through validated Zoho mail flow.
Prepare Zoho and configure the authorized Microsoft application connection.
Map users and run a representative pilot migration.
Review folders, item counts, exceptions, and user access.
Execute controlled batches and final delta synchronization.
Coordinate DNS cutover and validate inbound and outbound delivery.
PLANNING CONTROLS
Issues we resolve before they become cutover problems.
Shared mailboxes
Shared and delegated access is inventoried because the destination design may differ from Exchange Online.
Identity dependencies
Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, and application dependencies are separated from the email-migration scope.
Retention and archives
Archive mailboxes, retention rules, and compliance data require explicit assessment before migration.
Client reconfiguration
Outlook, mobile applications, and authentication changes are included in the user-transition plan.
SOURCE-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
What your IT team will want to confirm.
Do users need to provide Microsoft 365 passwords?+
Normally no. The migration can use a tenant application authorized by an administrator with the required permissions.
Can shared mailboxes be migrated?+
They must first be inventoried and mapped to a suitable Zoho destination model. We confirm the supported approach during discovery.
Can we migrate in phases?+
Yes. Pilot and production users can move in controlled groups, with coexistence considered where the required mail routing is supported.
What happens to Microsoft Teams and OneDrive?+
They are outside an email-only migration. Collaboration data requires a separate assessment, destination design, and approved scope.
READY TO MAP THE ROUTE?
Share your user count, data volume, and preferred timeline.
We will validate the access model, recommend the trial or POC path, and prepare a controlled migration plan.
